Coach's Thoughts
"This was a great match for us to find out who we are as a team and I thought the girls responded well!" said Bruin head coach
Rick Cruz, "Santa Cruz is a top 40 team and we proved we can compete at a high level; especially in doubles. It would have been nice to pull off the upset but there was a lot to build from moving forward."
What Comes Next
The Bruins continue their stretch of home matches next Saturday when they host another non-conference opponent in the College of Idaho. That match is set to begin at 10:00 a.m.
