McMINNVILLE, Ore. -- The George Fox women's golf team did it again, winning yet another NWC championship with a first place finish and a score of 603 (+27).
Top Performers
Alison Takamiya placed first overall in the final day of play in the tournament with an overall score of 139 (-5). Takamiya had an excellent second day of play, breaking even but having a total of three birdies and eleven birdies at the end of the round.Â
Katelyn Lam placed third in the tournament and second overall for the Bruins with a total score of 152 (+8). Lam had two birdies and ten pars in the second round of play.
Ainsley Carter tied for fifth place with teammate
Reyna Naranjo with a score of 156 (+12). Carter had a solid round of play—shooting a birdie and nine pars over the course of the second day.Â

Samara D'Silva placed fifteenth in the tournament with a score of 161 (+17). She had one birdie and seven pars during day two of play.Â
Despite being short-handed, with neither
Liana Brown or
Makensie Toole available to play, the Bruins won by 25 strokes with a score of 603 (+27), with Whitman coming in second place, well behind Fox.
