HILLSBORO, Ore. -- The Northwest Conference announced their all-conference teams for women's golf, with several Bruin golfers making the cut.
Fox, who captured the 2025-26 NWC Championship for their 16th consecutive conference crown, put four Bruins on the All-NWC team: Samara D'SIlva,
Katelyn Lam,
Abby Matelski, and
Ashlyn Johnson.
D'Silva was the Bruins' representative on the Northwest Conference First Team, her first-ever conference honor. The sophomore was consistent in all three NWC tournaments, finishing in the top ten in each one; D'Silva placed ninth in the Fall Classic, fifth in the NWC Championship, and was the runner up in the Spring Classic.
Next up was
Katelyn Lam, who impressed with a Second Team honor. An All-NWC First Teamer as a freshman, Lam was the medalist at the Fall Classic, and finished fourth at the Spring Classic and ninth in the championship. In addition to her conference competition, the sophomore was named NWC Student-Athlete of the Week once following her performance at the national preview.
The other player on the NWC Second Team was
Abby Matelski. The junior transfer from Pacific Lutheran earned her first-ever conference honor thanks to solid finishes to close the year; following an 18th-place effort at the Fall Classic, Matelski placed fourth at the Spring Classic and sixth at the championship.
Rounding out the all-conference honors was
Ashlyn Johnson, who was named to the newly-created third team. Johnson, who also competes for Team USA in the Deaflympics and traveled with the national team to Tokyo in November 2025, had a high finish of ninth in both the Fall Classic and Championship.
In addition to the All-NWC honors, Bruin head coach
MaryJo McCloskey was once again named NWC Coach of the Year. After losing three All-Americans following the 2025 season McCloskey helped make sure the Bruins never missed a beat, sweeping both the Fall and Spring Classics and the NWC Championship to clinch Fox's 16th straight NWC title.
Fox will look to earn another trophy at nationals — their fifth in a row — as Fox will compete at the NCAA Championships from May 19-22. The D-III title will be crowned on the West Coast for the first time as the Bruins will travel to Palm Desert, Calif. And compete at Desert Willow Golf Resort.
