TACOMA, Wash. -- The George Fox men's soccer team continued their conference matchups, against the Puget Sound Loggers, coming away with a tie, 3-3 after an action packed game.
How it Happened
Wilson Fresh kicked off the start of a very competitive game with a shot in the second minute, just missing high. The sixth minute held the first goal of the match, unfortunate for PS, but great for Fox, off a Loggers own goal, putting the Bruins up 1-0.
The Loggers attempted two shots before finding success in the ninth minute, with a shot in the low center, 1-1.
Both teams tested each other with shots hitting each way.
Zac LeVin broke the streak finding the back of the net in the left corner, assisted by
Talon Wagner, Fox up 2-1 (21st minute).
Just seven minutes later,
Aidan Brouddus hit a banger in the top left, with an assist by LeVin to put Fox up but two, 3-1. Josh Adams-Vakulenko made two saves, but the PS offense was too strong and got through with three minutes remaining (3-2).
14 minutes into the second half, the Loggers completed their comeback, tying it up, 3-3, While LeVin and
Carson Tapia attempted shots in the minutes following, both were saved. The Loggers were relentless and created five more shots, but none managed to get on frame. The second half was controlled by Puget Sound, and after a packed second half that saw PS outshoot GFU 10-3, the Bruins walked away with a 3-3 tie.

Zac LeVin tracked one goal and one assist.
Aidan Brouddus also had one goal.
Talon Wagner held one assist.
What it Means
Fox moves to a record of 1-3-1 (1-1-1 NWC). Puget Sound goes to 1-0-1 (0-0-1 NWC).
Coach's Thoughts
"UPS has a number of players that ask very difficult questions," said Bruin head coach
Paul Karver. "We did a good job in moments and others we will learn from. To come in the road and battle through the adversity of this game shows that we are maturing, a few weeks ago this might be a different result and for that we are immensely proud of this group."
What Happens Next
The Bruins will be back in action on Sunday, September 20 to finish off their weekend in Tacoma against the Pacific Lutheran Lutes (3-1-1, 1-0-0 NWC). Kickoff is scheduled for noon.
