DUPONT, Wash. -- The George Fox women's golf team began day one of the Saint Martin's Invitational, sitting at fifth with 309 (+21). 

Top Performances
Katelyn Lam led the Bruins for the day, hitting three birdies, two on the back nine, to give her 75 (+3). She sits tied at 15th. 

Samara D'Silva racked in next, tying for 23rd, with a birdie on hole five and a handful of bogeys, 76 (+4). Abby Matelski followed suit, also hitting a birdie on the front nine and a collection of bogeys to tie, this time in 34th, at 78 (+6).

Ashlyn Johnson followed in Lam's footsteps, finding three birdies spread across the board, 80 (+8), coming in 48th place. 

Reyna Naranjo and Sofia Ayesa (competing individually) came in with the same score, putting them tied in 61st, 84 (+12). 

Fox closes out day one at 309 (+21), a four-way tie for fifth with Saint Martin's, Simon Fraser, and Western Washington. Oregon Tech sits in the number one spot with 298 (+10). Emma Worgum of Seattle Pacific holds first place individually, 70 (-2).
