Brent Leber joined the George Fox cross country team as an assistant coach in the fall of 2025. Prior to his time at Fox, Brent was the Assistant Cross Country/Track & Field Coach at Geneva College from 2023-25, also acting as the Head Recruiting Coordinator for the XC/Track & Field program during the 2024-2025 school year. In his two seasons with Geneva, Leber helped develop three athletes that qualified as individuals for the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships.
Before his time in Pennsylvania, Leber was a NCAA Division I athlete at Lipscomb University in Nashville from 2015-2022. While with the Bisons, Leber became the first Lipscomb cross country athlete to qualify for the NCAA Division I National Championships, doing so in 2019. Won Atlantic Sun Conference Male Athlete of the Year in 2020, he broke four school records while at Lipscomb, with his 10k record still standing.
Brent planned on a professional running contract to run for ASICS Greenville Track Club Elite before suffering a career-ending ankle injury and turning his focus towards coaching.
