- Qualified for state cross country his junior season; was a district qualifier in both his junior and senior seasons
- Served as team captain in cross country his senior season and was a four-year varsity letter winner in the sport all four seasons
- Ran 1,600 meters in 4 minutes, 32 seconds and the 800 in 2:05 as a junior; ran a 4:29 in the 1,600, a 2:01 in the 800 and a 17:08 5K as a senior
