Audrey Maas (Lichten)

Audrey Maas (Lichten) joins the Bruins’ cross country coaching staff for the fall 2022 season as a part of Mike Wilson's staff.

Previously, she coached at Yamhill-Carlton High School as the head cross country coach (2019-2021) and distance assistant track coach (2020-2022). During her seasons at Yamhill-Carlton, she coached the women’s cross country team to a state qualification (2019), an individual state champion (Cristin Brethower - 2nd place XC, 2020 & 1st place 3000m, 2021) and multiple individual state championship podium finishes in the 2022 track season. 

From 2016-2019, Audrey coached for the McMinnville Track Club at the youth level. She assisted in coaching the boys cross country teams to compete at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championship meet 3 years in a row.

Audrey earned her bachelor degree from Linfield College in 2015 and competed on the track and cross country teams there for three years after an All-State high school career in her home state of Washington. She competed for Linfield at the West Region Cross Country Championships all three years. On the track, she earned Top 8 finishes in the 1500 and 800 at the Northwest Conference Championships in 2012 and 2014.
