Alison Takamiya joined the women’s golf team as an assistant coach in the fall of 2025. Takamiya played golf for the Bruins for five years, where she was a four-time NWC Player of the Year. She was a five-time First Team WGCA All-American, a member of the 2023 NCAA Championship team, and the NCAA D-III National Champion her senior year.
In her senior season, Takamiya earned Division III PING WGCA Player of the Year, the D-III Inkster Award Honor, was named a D-III Honda Athlete of the Year Award finalist, and earned an exemption to play at the LPGA Portland Classic. In her fifth year, Takamiya became one of only three players ever to win the Division III PING WGCA Player of the Year twice in a row.
A five-time WGCA All-American Scholar, Takamiya earned her degree in Business Administration.
