Haley Downey enters her eighth season with the Bruins as the strength and conditioning coach and an assistant coach for the 2023 fall season.

Downey joined the George Fox athletic department as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications during March of 2023. Since 2016, Haley has worked at George Fox as an assistant coach and the strength and conditioning coach for the Bruin women’s soccer team.

A George Fox alum, Haley graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in health and human performance and played for the Bruins women's soccer team from 2011-2014. Downey returns with seven-plus years of experience in customer-facing roles, most recently as the regional operations manager with Exos in Hillsboro, where she coached and assisted with managing the day-to-day operations of a Fortune 500 corporate wellness program.

In 2022, Downey graduated with a master’s degree in sports administration from Arkansas State University.
