Scott Caldwell joined the George Fox University women's soccer staff in 2026 with nearly a decade of coaching experience in the Portland soccer community. Scott currently leads high school-aged teams for the premier club, Westside Metros, and helps develop players both on and off the field. Scott holds a U.S. Soccer D License and is passionate about creating positive, competitive environments that foster growth, confidence, and a lifelong love of the game.
In the summer of 2019, Scott traveled throughout France following the FIFA Women's World Cup, an experience that further deepened his appreciation for the global impact of the women's game and the opportunities it creates for athletes.
Outside of soccer, Scott earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, coaches CrossFit, and runs an outpatient mental health practice. An avid traveler, he has visited more than 100 countries, gaining a unique perspective on cultures, people, and sport around the world.
Above all, he considers being a husband to his wonderful wife and a father to his amazing daughter his greatest accomplishments. After family, coaching soccer remains his true passion, and he is excited to contribute to the development of student-athletes at George Fox University.
