Joshua Mondt joined Spencer Crace's staff as the offensive coordinator in March of 2025.
Mondt comes to the university by way of Faulkner University in Montgomery, Ala., where he served as offensive coordinator and assistant head coach for one season.Â
Prior to his time in Alabama, Mondt served as the QB / Pass Game Coordinator at Idaho State University. In his first season coaching the quarterbacks, Mondt helped coach the No. 1 passing offense in Division I FCS, with the Bengal offense averaging 337.7 passing yards on average per game in the season.Â
A Loveland, Colo. native, Mondt attended Resurrection Christian High School before attending Concordia (Neb.) to play baseball. Following his time in the Midwest, Mondt attended Northern Colorado University, spending time as an offensive analyst and cutting his teeth coaching as a student assistant.Â
Following his time in the Bears program, Mondt went to Colorado School of Mines, where he helped the Orediggers to the NCAA DII Semifinals as a tight ends coach. The team averaged nearly 40 points per game.Â
