George Fox University

Sarah Crossfield, a graduate from George Fox, returned to the university as an assistant volleyball coach in July of 2014. She obtained her undergraduate degree in 2010 from the university and majored in Health and Human Performance while playing rightside hitter for four years. After graduation she became head coach Steve Grant’s assistant for two years.

Crossfield will enter her fourth season under head coach Steve Grant in the 2015 season. 

After her time at George Fox, Sarah moved to Singapore to teach physical education and coach volleyball at the International Community School – Singapore for another two years.

“Teaching abroad was a great experience,” said Sarah. “You get the opportunity to travel, see new places, as well as meet new people. The school was a part of Network of International Christian Schools, and I loved seeing how important it was to teach the students about God and being in relationship with Him.”

Sarah also received her Masters of Arts in Teaching from George Fox in 2012, bringing her back to campus for a second time. Sarah is elated to be returning to George Fox once again as a coach, and will attend Grace Chapel in Wilsonville.
