Brendan Jones enters his sixth season as an assistant coach under head coach Maco Hamilton in 2022-23.

Jones first joined Hamilton's staff as a volunteer and has steadily grown his responsibilities over the last five seasons. Jones now acts as both Hamilton's top assistant coach on the court, assists with all the Bruins' recruiting for the program, and serves as the team's strength and conditioning coach. Jones earned his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credentials from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). In addition to his coaching and CSCS duties for both the team and the department, Jones also serves as an adjunct professor in the Health and Human Performance program.

Jones has been part of the program with Hamilton since 2015 when he transferred to Fox for his junior season of basketball. Jones graduated with honors from Fox in 2017 with a degree in Health and Human Performance and a fitness management emphasis.

Prior to coming to Fox, Jones won a state title in his senior year of high school at Hellgate HS in Missoula, Mont. Jones then played a season of collegiate basketball as a freshman at Gillette College in Gillette, Wyo., before transferring as a sophomore to Everett CC in Everett, Wash.

Jones also has continued to develop himself as a coach on the local club circuit outside of his time working with the Bruins.
