Box Score PARKLAND, Wash. --- George Fox University's women's volleyball team took on the top team in the Northwest Conference standings Friday night, as the Bruins fell to the Lutes of Pacific Lutheran in a three-set match.
The Lutes (16-4, 9-2 NWC) beat the Bruins (3-18, 2-9 NWC) 25-14, 25-14, 25-18.
The Bruins were led by Erin Campbell, who had a hitting percentage of .353 with seven kills on 17 attack attempts. She also managed 11 digs on the night. Kylee Adderson recorded six block assists, and helped the Bruins out-block the Lutes, 6-2.
Payton Shrum finished with 18 assists and three block assists on the night.
The Lutes out-hit the Bruins .273 to .116 and were led by Lucy Capron, who tallied 16 kills in the match.
George Fox will come back home Saturday, Oct. 25th when it will take on Willamette at 7:00 p.m.
