Box Score FOREST GROVE, Ore. ---George Fox University's women's soccer team played 84 scoreless minutes Sunday afternoon, as the Bruins fell in a heartbreaking 1-0 match to Pacific.
Both Ally Swanson and Morgan Hansen shared time in the net for the Bruins, as they both finished the match with three saves.
Swanson received the start in the first period and faced six shots.
The Bruins went into the half tied with the Boxers 0-0.
The Boxers used their heavy handed offensive strikes to their advantage firing off a total of 14 shots, while the Bruins tallied three.
The game winner came in the 85th minute after Boxer' Sydney Virgen found the back of the net from a left side cross.
George Fox will stay on the road and take on Whitman on Friday, Nov. 7 at 11:00 a.m.
