NEWBERG, Ore. --- George Fox University's women's volleyball team hosted its second Northwest Conference matchup in back-to-back nights Saturday, as the Bruins competed against the Wildcats of Linfield College.

The Bruins (2-10, 1-1 NWC) fell to the Wildcats (3-4, 2-0 NWC) in a tough four-set match, 28-26, 18-25, 24-26, 19-25.

Payton Shrum finished the night with 29 assists and 16 digs, while Erin Campbell was the only player in double-digit kills with 12. She also added 11 digs and two block assists on the night.

Kylee Adderson led the Bruins with a .286 hitting percentage, going 8-for-21 with two attacking errors.

Linfield was led by Molly McTaggart (14), Caiti Barrie (13), and Jamie Talbo (10) as the only players to record double-digit kills.

The Bruins will look to bounce back next week when they host Pacific Lutheran on Sept. 26 at 7 p.m.
