Newberg, Ore. --- The Bruins have a homestay this weekend, as they host the Loggers of Puget Sound and the Lutes of Pacific Lutheran. Today's match was against the Loggers. Although the George Fox hopeful didn't prefer the result of the match, there are still positive notes to be taken away from the match individually.
Recap:
The early half of the first set marked a good start for the women, as they led 12-9 after three straight errors by the Loggers. However, UPS would come creeping back, gnawing away at the Bruin lead bit by bit, and eventually taking the match 25-19.
The second set was similar to the first. The Bruins held a 13-12 advantage. An 8 to 1 run by the loggers would turn the tables, though. The match would end in a 25-16 victory for Puget Sound. The third set would end with a similar final score, 25-17.

Delaney Cruz provided the most consistent stat line of the night, going for 9 kills, an assist, 4 digs with 2 assisted blocks. Erin Dellinger was also all over the place during the match, husseling to provide for her team. Erin registered with 3 kills, a solo block, four assisted blocks and 5 digs.
