Recap:
The first set began with a 6-1 run by the Lutes as the Bruins found themselves in a hole. Delaney Cruz and Erin Sprowls scattered kills to keep the Bruins within a manageable distance, but the Lutes offense proved to be too much as the Bruins fell in set one, 25-17.

From there, the Lutes went on a 6-0 run to gain an advantage on the Bruins that proved to be too much to overcome. A couple kills from Sarah Davies and a kill from Sprowls tried to rally the Bruins, but the Lutes finished strong taking set two, 25-11.

In the fourth set, the Lutes came firing as they did early in the match, jumping out to an 8-3 lead. The Bruins responded, as kills from Danyle Dupray and Sprowls got the Bruins to within one, 9-8. The teams continued to exchange points and the Bruins were able to grab a 12-11 lead, but it was the Lutes who countered with a big run, grabbing a 20-14 lead. The deficit proved to be too large for the Bruins to overcome, as they fell 25-16.
