The momentum changed in the second quarter after the Bulldogs blitzed the Bruins with a 9-0 run. Kimberly Frost broke the silence for the Bruins at the 5:58 mark after teammate Kylin Collman setup the fast break layup with a steal. The Bruins chipped away at the deficit for the remainder of the quarter, but the Bulldogs went into the break with a seven point advantage, 34-27.

The Bruins came out of the locker room swinging, as the home team went on a 9-4 run in the opening minutes. Bailey McDevitt tied the game up at 38-38 after a layup, and Frost regained the lead for the Bruins on the free throw line to go up 39-38. Both teams went back and forth trading baskets, and the score was even after three at 47-47.

Frost was the hero for the Bruins in the start of the fourth, as the senior guard scored eight straight points to put the Bruins up by eight, 55-47. The Bulldogs weren't able to come back from the deficit, as the Bruins closed out the game on the free throw line.
