NEWBERG, Ore. --- In their final home game of the season, the George Fox women's soccer team hosted the best-in-conference Lutes of Pacific Lutheran, losing the matchup 5-0.
Recap:
The home team came out ready to play against the fifth ranked team in the West, proving to be a challenge to the high-powered Lutes' offense throughout the first part of the contest. The Bruins were able to hold the top-ranked visitors scoreless in what was a highly competitive first half.
The Lutes found their offensive spark early in the final period of play with a goal coming in the 58th minute that sparked a ten-minute offensive surge wherein they scored four more goals.
The deficit proved to be too much for the Bruins as the time ran out.
Top Performers:
Senior goalkeeper Morgan Bars tallied seven saves in her last time taking the pitch at Austin Sports Complex. Senior Hannah Harder also finished with two goals.

The Bruins look to bounce back in their final game tomorrow against Willamette at 11:00am.
