Bruins Blank Bearcats in 9-0 Win

SALEM, Ore. --- The George Fox men's tennis team continued its undefeated season in the Northwest Conference, blanking the Bearcats of Willamette University, 9-0.

Recap:
The Bruins came away with three huge points in doubles, as Matt Biggi and Jacob Farmer helped seal the sweep at No. 3 doubles with a 9-7 victory.

With the 3-0 advantage heading into singles, the Bruins kept the momentum going, taking the first five sets in straight sets. Farmer again was clutch for the Bruins, as he rallied back for a 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-8) victory.

Davin Lee also had a big match at No. 5 singles, but came away with a 6-4, 6-4 win.

What It Means:
With the win, the Bruins are now 4-2 on the season and a perfect 4-0 in NWC play. The last time the Bruins started conference play at 4-0 was in the 2012-13 season.

What Comes Next:
The Bruins will have a tough match Sunday against ranked Lewis & Clark College at 11a.m.
