VANCOUVER, Wash. --- The George Fox men's tennis team took a break out of its competitive Northwest Conference schedule to host Colorado College in a non-conference match, Monday night. The Bruins went on to beat the Tigers, 7-2.
Recap:
The Bruins took a commanding 3-0 lead after sweeping all three doubles. Spencer Watanabe and Alex Namba won at No. 1 doubles with an 8-4 score, while Ryan Malinowski and Davin Lee took down No. 2 doubles with an 8-4 victory. Jacob Farmer and Tristen Lerma had the closest match at No. 3 doubles, but came away on top with an 8-6 win.
The Bruins didn't have to wait long to seal the victory, as the Bruins' No. 1, 2 and 3 singles secured wins to close out the match. Watanabe cruised by his opponent at No. 1 singles for a 6-2, 6-4 win. He has now won 10 straight single matches at the No. 1 spot. Matt Biggi was crucial at No. 2 singles with a straight set victory of 6-1, 6-3. Alex Namba also had a decisive match with a 6-1, 6-4 straight set win. Jacob Farmer gave the Bruins their final point at No. 6 singles with a 6-1, 6-3 score.
What It Means:
With the win, the Bruins improve to 7-5 on the season.

The Bruins will continue their non-conference schedule with a match against Holy Names Friday, March 31, at 1p.m. on the road.
