OAHU --- The No. 9-ranked George Fox women's basketball team made the most of its Hawaii trip Wednesday, as the Bruins cruised to an 82-64 victory over Chapman University.

Tonight was the final game for the Bruins in the Street Shine Invitational as they took on the Panthers of Chapman. Due to limited staff and multiple tournaments in the area statistics will be made known at a later date. 

The Bruins opened up the first quarter with a 24-13 lead. The pressure from the Bruins' defense and a couple of quick baskets by Emily Spencer proved to be too much for the Panthers.

Spencer led the Bruins on the night with a career-high 23 points, going 3-5 from the 3-point line. She also tied her career-high in steals with eight. Kylin Collman finished with 13 points, Emily Holder recorded 11 points and Haylee Hutzler nearly missed a double-double with six points and 11 rebounds.

The Bruins will host their final game of the 2018 season on Sunday, Dec. 30, against Bethel (Minn.) at 4 pm.
