NEWBERG, Ore. --- The George Fox men's basketball program hosted Pacific (Ore.) to complete its home-and-away weekend series and fell 106-105 in the closing seconds.

The Bruins battled in a tightly contested game from the opening tip to the closing buzzer with slim leads for each team. In the final seconds, the Bruins' two-point lead turned into a one-point deficit and the Boxers survived a buzzer-beating attempt from Ryan Lacey to steal a win on the Bruins' home court.

Jackson Januik led all scorers with 20 points and Bruins got 16 apiece from Lacey and JD Ahlstrom. Kalu Stricklin and Davon Walker added 14 each in the loss. Lacey tallied seven boards to lead the team and Brendan Ritschard notched a career-high six assists.
