Box Score SALEM, Ore. --- George Fox men's tennis picked up another sweeping Northwest Conference win after a 9-0 victory over the Willamette Bearcats.
How It Happened
Will Leach & Luke Lemaitre won first doubles 8-5 and Camden Camacho paired with Vahag Pashayan to take no. 2 doubles 8-2. Hunter Fujimori worked with Sam Watt to finish the doubles sweep with an 8-2 win at the third flight.
In singles play, Leach won 6-1, 6-0 at the first flight while Lemaitre swept 6-0, 6-0 at the second singles spot. Pashayan won 6-1, 6-0 at no. 3 singles, and Camacho, Alle Banna, and Fujimori swept 6-0, 6-0 to close out the 9-0 team sweep.
Their Thoughts
"It was nice to get the win today," coach Jeff Cero said of the victory. "The support was great; the weather was iffy but we made it through. We're looking forward to playing them again tomorrow."
