NEWBERG, Ore. --- The George Fox men's tennis team remained dominant on the second day of the four-day ITA Northwest Regional Championships, hosted at the Multi-Use Facility.
How It Happened
Heading into the third day of competition, the Bruins will advance six representatives to singles quarterfinals and four doubles teams in the semifinals.
GFU distinguished themselves in 14 of their 17 singles matches, including an upset from freshman Ryan Olson over Pacific (Ore.) seed Joey Hu. The Bruins hope to maintain their doubles momentum after holding onto their undefeated status through two days of action.

Coach's Thoughts
"The guys did a great job from start to finish today," said head coach Jeff Cero. "Saturday of ITA's is a long one; the focus and intensity was great from everyone, starting with singles, then finishing with doubles. We definitely have a few things to build on as the tournament goes, and we're looking forward to doing that tomorrow and Monday."
