NEWBERG, Ore. --- After another hard fought battle, the Bruins went toe-to-toe with Pacific on Saturday afternoon, tying in a 0-0 game.
How It Happened
Hoping to garner some momentum to carry with them into the mid-way point of their season, the Bruins came out of the gates hot, with two early shots from
Kellin Aguiar that were blocked by Pacific goalie Zach Aderinto. Fox looked to keep the pressure on Pacific's defense, outshooting the Boxers 8-2, though neither team broke through for a goal..
In the second half, the Bruin's offense continued to push the issue, with Pacific's defense continuing to work to keep the score at 0-0. The Boxers tallied two shots in the half, neither on goal. The Bruins, who finished with more shots on goal than Pacific took shots, still couldn't finish on opportunities.
In the final minutes of the second half, Aguiar once again took a shot at the back of the net, but was unable to do so after another save from Aderinto, leaving the game in a 0-0 tie.
