CLAREMONT, Calif. -- The George Fox men's tennis team continued on in Day Two of the Stag-Hen Invitational, competing against another nationally-ranked team in #8 Emory, falling 0-4.
How It Happened
In doubles, the Bruins faced a tough test when matching up against the Eagles. Starting out, the duo of
Camden Camacho and Vahag Pashayn fought against Ryan Glanville and Charlie James, losing 6-2. On court two,
Eli Mizerski and
Austin Stone played a tough match but lost, 6-1.
Lars Schamassmann fought hard to keep it close with his opponent, dropping the match, 6-4, 6-4. With the weather still being an issue for the Bruins, they had to leave 3 singles matches unfinished.
Austin Stone,
Camden Camacho, and
Hunter Fujimori all had their matches cut short. Camacho was keeping it close against Brandon Cohen, but it finished early, 6-2, 5-4. Fujimori took on his opponent but wasn't able to get the win before it went unfinished, 6-3, 3-2.
