ESTACADA, Ore. -- While several Bruins rested for the upcoming NWC Championships, select athletes on theGeorge Fox men's and women's cross country competed in the Lewis and Clark invite Saturday, with the men taking third place overall in the 8K.
Top Performers
Senior
Adam Petersen placed seventh clocking in at 25:24.4 as the top finisher for men's cross country. Freshman
Caleb Doddington was right behind Petersen taking second finisher for the Bruins with a time of 25:51.3 and a final place of 10th.
Freshman
Nate Hamilton finished third for the Bruins and placed in 15th place with a time of 26:22.3. Sophomore
Carson Stockwell came in 18th place and had a time of 26:29.8. Sophomore
Benjamin Bourne came in 21st place with a time of 26:38.4. Sophomore
Taylor Bramel 24th place with a time of 26:40.7. Freshman
Jacob Shin came in 26th place in total with a time of 26:43.7.
In the women's 6K senior
Allie Wilber placed at the top for the George Fox women taking 12th place with a time of 23:56.1 while freshman
Marilyn Green had a time of 24:32.4 and took 17th place for the Bruins. Freshman
Reese Borchert took 31st place with a time of 25:46.5 and freshman
Isabella Herboldt clocked in at 27:37.4 placing in 43rd place.
