FOREST GROVE, Ore. -- George Fox women's soccer lost 2-3 today against the Pacific Boxers in conference play.
How It HappenedÂ
The game initially started off slow with neither team scoring in the first half. Pacific had five shots up against George Fox's three shots. The second half of the game picked up greatly with Pacific scoring in the 48th minute of the game, the goal was scored by Mirella Garcia. Bruin player
Maci Bowman was next to score after receiving an assist from teammate
Alexis Breer.Â
Pacific responded to Bowman's goal with two more goals – making the score 3-1. The Bruins didn't stop their fight and stayed persistent with their pressure.
Becca Kozak scored the final goal of the game in the 75th minute after an assist from
Alexis Breer. The Bruins stayed in the game up until the end having a total of seven shots to Pacific's 13.Â
