Moore found success on the singles side of the tournament, making his way to the semi-finals after defeating Lewis and Clark's Kai Wills 6-2, 6-2. Moore was able to rest during the morning round of 16 due to Whitman's Alexander Stage withdrawing from their match.Â
Ebisu came back from a first set loss in the round of 16, putting the pedal to the medal and winning his match over Puget Sound's Jason Rowe 4-6, 6-2, 6-3. Despite an intense battle in his quarterfinal match, Ebisu's run came to an end, eventually losing 7-6 (3), 3-6, 6-4, to Linfield's Seth Lee.Â
Jackson Whittaker fought all the way to the end of his round of 16 singles match, eventually being taken down by Whitman's Huang 1-6. 6-4, 7-5.

As the day transitioned from singles to doubles, the Bruins continued their success from day one. They later extended their run into the tournament, advancing to the semifinals by dominating Lewis and Clark's Joey Lyon and Noah Sutin 8-0.Â
The Moore/Whittaker duo also advanced to the quarterfinals, defeating Whitman's Lucas Huang and Cameron Yang 8-3. Despite the good play, Moore and Whittaker got stopped just short of the semifinals, taken down by the number two seeded Wade McDermott and Kai Wills from Lewis and Clark 8-4.Â

Soon to come...
What it Means
Zach Moore will serve it up at 9:00 AM Sunday, September 22nd in the singles semi-finals, while the Schmassman/Ebisu pair waits until 3:30 PM to see the court. At this point in the weekend, a win means playing one more game, while any losses eliminates the players from the tournament. With players in each division, the Bruins have a chance to win both sides of the bracket for the fourth year in a row.Â
