FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- Inclement weather played a part in the Bruin's travel as they headed to the Northwest Conference Swimming Championships at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.
The Bruins were one of three Oregon schools that had travel delays, joining Pacific and Lewis and Clark as the teams did not compete on the first night of the meet.
The teams will swim the events they missed over the next two days. The 800 free relay will be swum at the end of prelims on Friday, and the 200 medley relay will be swum at the end of prelims on Saturday.
The team has made it safely to their lodging and will be back in action for prelims tomorrow February 14th at 9:30 am.
