FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – The George Fox swimming team continued competing in the Northwest Conference Championships. The Women sit in seventh place overall, while the Men are in eighth.
How It Happened
In the Women's 400 yard Individual Medley,
Jesse Urback placed ninth with a solid time of 4:57.45, while
Kaylee Dicey was right behind her with 4:55.98 in tenth place.
Wyatt Green placed 11th in the Men's 400 Yard IM—with a time of 4:20.41.
In the Men's 100 Yard Butterfly,
Cameron Alexander had a time of 51.63 seconds; fast enough for 13th place.
The next event was the Women's Yard Freestyle, with
Mia Smith in 15th place at 2:04.52, while
Laurel Knox was right on her toes in 16th with 2:01.96.
In the Women's 100 Yard Breaststroke,
Riley Parker placed 11th with a time of 1:09.61, while
Ellie Hoover was in 12th place at 1:11.36.
Jared Gray made the top twenty in the Men's 100 Yard Breastroke, with 1:01.10 in 15th place.
In the Men's 100 Yard Backstroke,
Aries Valenzuela locked in 53.55 seconds in 11th place, while
August Maberry was in 15th with 56.19, and
Christopher McLellan in 16th at 55.78.
Fox placed seventh in the Women's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:42.39.
Fox also placed seventh in the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, their time being 1:29.78.
What Comes Next
The Bruins will continue the Northwest Conference Championship in their final meet on Sunday, February 16th. The first event is scheduled to start at 9:30 am.
