NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. -- The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association has named 256 players to their All-Region Teams, with two George Fox women's lacrosse players named to the West Region Teams.

Lana Davis and Ava Bluhm were rewarded for their excellent play this season, with Davis landing a spot on the West All-Region First Team, and Bluhm earning second-team honors.

Davis had a strong season for the Bruins, racking up 53 goals and 28 assists on the season. She was a force to be reckoned with on the offensive and defensive side of the field, causing a team-high 31 turnovers and winning an impressive 77 draws. Her play was good enough for her to be named to the All-Northwest Conference First Team for the second straight year, leading the team in total points for the second straight season. This is Davis's first All-Region honor.

Bluhm was named Second Team All-Region for the second straight year, mirroring her accomplishments from last season. After being named to the All-NWC Second Team, the region's coaches still deemed her talented enough to pick up All-Region honors. She tied with Davis with 53 goals scored, picking up 21 assists and 40 ground balls in another phenomenal year. Bluhm has now recorded 50+ goals in each of her three seasons, and is currently on pace to break the career goals record at Fox.

The Bruins qualified for the first round of the NCAA tournament after their eighth straight unbeaten NWC season, falling 22-3 to No. 17 Stevens Institute of Technology.
