NEWBERG, Ore. -- The George Fox men's soccer team fell to the Whittier Poets, 1-5, in a wild game that featured a four-minute stretch with five goals.
How It Happened
The Bruins came out swinging early with two shot attempts by freshman

Using their momentum, the Poets' Rowan Slater went off, scoring two more goals — including one additional penalty kick — in just over two minutes to give Whittier a 3-0 lead.
58 seconds later, the ball was in the net again, though this time in the Bruins' favor; Off of a corner by senior
Eugene Peltier, freshman
Liam Urbina fired an answering header in the 25th minute, scoring the first goal of the night for the Bruins. Undeterred, the Poets successfully attempted an answering shot of their own — again just one minute later — leaving the half 4-1, after a 4:22 stretch of soccer that featured five goals.
