GREENWOOD, Ind. — College Sports Communicators officially announced its 2025 Academic All-District teams for the 2025 football season, and for the third straight season, seven or more Bruins find themselves on the list.

Ben Rembisz (Kinesiology), Rylan McGraw (Biology), Ty Borde (Psychology), Reyn Asato (Kinesiology), Sam Astor (Elementary Education), Caleb McElfish (Engineering), and Silas Kincaid (Kinesiology) were all named to the Academic All-District team. In order to be named, student-athletes must maintain a GPA of at least 3.50 while also playing in at least nine of the team's 10 games during the season.

Borde earned the honor for the second year in a row, while Rembisz, McGraw, Asato, Astor, and McElfish were recognized for the first time in their careers. Fox recorded 23 Academic All-District selections through the past three seasons — the highest total among NWC programs.

As part of the nomination process, athletes were reviewed for consideration for the Academic All-America award. Thanks to his All-NWC season in 2025, Rembisz is eligible to be considered for an Academic All-America honor.

First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced Jan. 27, 2026.
