BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Unsung heroes don't always get recognition. Noah Bjornstedt got some on Tuesday.

The George Fox long snapper for the past two seasons, Bjornstedt has been one of the top snappers in the conference — something that his coach, Spencer Crace, has noticed over the seasons. However, without stats, it's often hard to fully realize their value to the team.

Bjornstedt had five perfect snaps on homecoming against Whitworth (two punts, three field goals). The highlight moment for the long snapper was downing a perfect Riley Rutledge punt at the 2-yard line, setting up a Whitworth interception to end the first half. These accomplishments put him on the D3football.com Team of the Week.

With the honor, Bjornstedt becomes the second special teams player to earn the national honor for the Bruins, following Lenana Meekisho in 2015. In addition, he became just the third long snapper ever to be put on the team, alongside Bates' Ryan Rozich in 2025 and St. John Fisher's Tory Vanburen in 2014.

Bjornstedt, the special teams squad, and the rest of the Bruins will be back in action, facing off against Lewis & Clark on Saturday, October 17.
