GREENWOOD, Ind. -- The College Sports Communicators (CSC) officially announced their 2025-26 Academic All-District Teams for the 2026 softball season, with five Bruins making the team for the second year in a row.

Mia Cantu (Interior Design), Allison Heater (Business Administration), Nicole Ledendecker (Biochemistry), Sami Stadtlander (Psychology), Tinley Taylor (Kinesiology) were all named to the team. In order to be named, students have to be sophomore standing, maintain a GPA of 3.50, either play in 90% of games or started in 66% of contests, or pitch in 65 innings. 

These five Bruins were joined by 28 other honorees from the Northwest Conference, tying Linfield, Lewis & Clark, Pacific, and Willamette for the most with five apiece.  

Even though the Bruins' season ended in the NWC tournament, they'll be returning over half of All-NWC honorees from the program and host upperclassmen ready to set the standard heading into the 2027 season.

Taylor was also nominated for CSC Academic All-American Honors. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All America honorees will be announced on June 16th, 2026.
