Seth Anderson

Seth Anderson enters his sixth season as an assistant coach for the Bruins and his first under head coach Kevin Kopple for the 2020 season.

Anderson was the starting first baseman for the 2009 season when the team won the Northwest Conference championship and made the NCAA D-III National Tournament. His 2009 squad posted the second-highest batting average in the country that season and notched the second-most total wins in a season, behind only to the 2004 team at George Fox. His 2009 team also tallied the most regular-season wins in Bruin baseball history with a 33-9 record prior to NCAA Reginal competition.

Anderson played two years for George Fox and recorded a batting average of .335. He took 307 at-bats and recorded 103 hits, 22 doubles and 62 RBI’s.

A native of Boise, Idaho, Anderson started his college career playing two seasons of football for Boise State University. He was part of the 2007 Fiesta Bowl winning team vs. the University of Oklahoma. Seth then transferred to Wenatchee Valley Community College to pursue his passion of playing college baseball. Anderson graduated from George Fox in the spring of 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing.

Seth and his wife, Kristin, reside in Newberg, Oregon.
