Chris Thomas joined the Bruins as an assistant coach working with their defensive backs for the 2019 season.

In his first full season with the Bruins, Thomas helped coach two All-Northwest Conference defensive backs. The defense finished second among all NWC opponents in interceptions (17), defensive TDs (2), and fewest pass yards allowed per game (225.6).

Thomas is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a dedicated husband and father.
