His decorated coaching career includes winning a 3A state title in Oregon while earning multiple Coach of the Year honors.

Prior to coaching at Fox, Crace served under his son, Spencer, as Tight Ends coach for Pacific Lutheran for six years, helping the PLU offense average 27.9 points per game in 2024 and put up 30 points per game in 2023 as the team finished third overall in the conference each season.
