Todd Shirley joined the George Fox coaching staff in the fall of 2021, serving as the running backs coach for the Bruins.

A 1992 graduate of Linfield College, Shirley earned his BS in Physical Education while becoming a star linebacker for the Wildcats. He continues to live inked all over the program's record books and remains tied for the most blocked kicks in program history.

Shirley's core values of selflessness, unity, and ownership have helped him lead high schools to the state championship game twice in his 25 years of coaching; Shirley was the head coach at Dayton, Cove, Powers, and Riddle High Schools in that time.

Todd and his wife Megan have been married for 28 years now after meeting at Linfield. The two have three daughters: Maddie, Beth, and Andie.
