Erika Molebash joined the Bruins’ coaching ranks as an assistant women’s basketball coach in 2021-22 for one season as a graduate assistant. Molebash previously worked as the head student manager for the Oregon State women’s basketball team under former Bruin head coach Scott Rueck.

“I chose George Fox because I love the atmosphere of the campus, the Be Known promise, and the legacy of the women’s basketball program!” Molebash said.

Molebash played high school basketball for Woodcreek High in the Sacramento area, but injuries cut her career short. Molebash elected to serve as a manager for the Beavers rather than continue to fight through injuries at the collegiate level. That decision allowed her to study under one of the best and brightest basketball minds in the Pacific Northwest for four seasons.

Molebash is currently pursuing her master’s degree in education and plans to teach and coach at the high school level after completing her studies at George Fox. As part of that program, Molebash is currently completing student-teaching hours at Newberg High School.

Off the court, Molebash enjoys hanging out with her golden retriever, Bailey.
