Scott Rueck, the 2008-09 National Coach of the Year, led the Bruins for 14 seasons and is the winningest coach in the hirstory of George Fox University women's basketball team. Rueck led the Bruins to a national championship in 2008-09 and established the Bruins' program as one of the finest in the nation at the small college level. After 14 seasons, Rueck left Fox for his alma mater, Oregon State, and was inducted into the Bruins' Hall of Fame in 2011. Rueck guided the Bruins to a 288-88 record (.766) in 14 seasons, all winning ones. The Bruins made nine postseason appearances in his 14 years, reaching the NCAA "Sweet 16" five times, "Elite 8" three times, and Final Four in '09.
