NEWBERG, Ore. --- The George Fox women's tennis team advanced
Neku Onoja and
Abigail Bond in Friday's qualifying rounds of the ITA Northwest Regional Championships.
How It Happened
Freshmen Onoja and Bond continue to fight their way into the tournament's main draws after defeating their opponents on opening day. Onoja bested Pacific's Rufo and Lewis & Clark's Harper in qualifying singles before teaming up with Bond in qualifying doubles.
The young duo upended L&C's Malone and Smith-Euban and must defeat the Pio pair of Kreps and Harper tomorrow before earning the right to compete in the main draw.
