HILLSBORO, Ore. --- The 2022 All-Northwest Conference volleyball rosters and major awards have been announced by the conference office.
Kassandra Staton earned her second consecutive All-NWC nod with a First Team spot on the 2022 All-NWC roster. Middle Blocker
Bailey LeBreton joined Staton with a Second Team spot. Staton was named to the Second Team in 2021, while the senior LeBreton earned her first all-conference award.
"Kassie and Bailey had a great year," Bruin head coach
Emily Davis said, "and I'm very proud of all their growth. They were big contributors to our wins this year."
Staton led the team in kills with 259 and averaged 2.94 kills/set, a number good enough for seventh in the conference among qualified players. Serving-wise, she totaled 23 service aces on the year, third on the team.
The junior was also a key contributor defensively, recording 3.36 digs/set and 26 blocks for the season. In 23 games on the year, Staton totaled 12 double-doubles from her kills and digs.
LeBreton was close behind Staton for kills on the season, with 234 total and 2.66 kills/set. Her hitting percentage of .301 was the best on the team and ranked fifth in the conference. The senior had 83 blocks — 11 of the solo — for the season. Both Staton and LeBreton were 9th and 10th in total points scored in the conference, respectively.
