SEATTLE, Wash. -- The George Fox track and field team sent two athlete sup to the University of Washington Husky Invite to kick off the indoor season, giving them valuable experience headed into the rest of the Spring. 

Top Performers 
Aidan Arthur competed for the Bruins in the men's 3000 meter event, clocking in at 8:53.02. The senior placed 15th in his heat and 74th overall against a deep field stacked with Division I talent.

The next day, senior Ellie Rising competed for the Bruins in the women's 800 meter run. With an impressive time of 2:11.48, she placed 18th overall, securing a good spot for the Bruins.

The Bruins will be back on Saturday, February 8th, where Fox will host their first indoor track meet of the season. 10:30 a.m. is the expected start time.
