HILLSBORO, Ore. – The Northwest Conference office announced its Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of November 18–24, with Gabbie Patti awarded the honor for her weekend's performances.

Patti put together a dominant slate over the weekend, posting record-breaking numbers at the Bruin Invite. She set the Northwest Conference record in the women's 200-yard backstroke (2:01.93), breaking the previous mark of 2:02.10 set by Whitman's Mara Selznick in 2017. 

The freshman also placed first in the 50-yard freestyle (1:54.95), the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.95), and the 200-yard individual medley (2:06.07), all of which stand as the top times in the conference this season. She won every individual event she entered, setting the pace for a first-place finish for the Bruin women's team.

Patti and the swim team will not have a competition for the rest of the calendar year, but will return to host College of Idaho at the Chehalem Parks & Recreation Aquatic Center on January 9, for their first meet of 2026.
