KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's All-Region teams, with
Kilinahe Waring being named to the yearly distinction.
Waring was the lone Bruin to make an All-Region team, earning third-team honors among 32 other Region X players.
"In a program filled with a number of exceptional young men, it is fantastic to have one of them honored in this way," Bruin head coach
Paul Karver said. "The West is filled with fantastic players, and Killi's résumé over four years—and this year specifically—has garnered a great deal of respect in the region."
The Honolulu, Hawai'i native is the first men's soccer player to be selected to an All-Region team since Bryan Erickson (Third Team) and Merrick Brownlee (First Team) in 2001. Bruin soccer players were nominated for Region X, a region consisting of the Northwest Conference, as well as schools from California, Colorado, and Texas.
Waring anchored the Bruins' back line this season to three shutouts while also scoring a game-tying goal against Whitworth across 1,798 minutes of action. He helped the Bruins earn six draws on the year—the most in program history.
The Senior defender will graduate from George Fox in the spring of 2026 with a degree in mechanical engineering.
